Giloy Kadha: Benefits, Preparation and Precautions

What is giloy?

Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia), also called guduchi, is a climbing vine used in Ayurveda for fever, digestion and general wellness.

Simple kadha method

Boil a small piece of giloy stem with tulsi leaves and ginger in two cups of water until it reduces to one cup. Strain and sip warm.

Cautions

Giloy may lower blood sugar and can affect immune-related conditions. Reports of liver problems with some products mean you should avoid long, high-dose use and consult a doctor, especially with liver disease or autoimmune disorders.
