With only a few days until my 30th Birthday I have to admit, I’m super excited for the week long festivities to begin. But… before we start celebrating me, I’d like to thank all the people that have shaped me into the person I am today.. my beautiful beautiful parents who love me unconditionally and have taught me to love with an open and honest heart, my favourite (and only) sister with whom I share a bond like no other, an amazing group of friends that I can count on rain or shine, and of course my gorgeous husband who encourages and supports all my dreams and aspirations, big (land a lead role in Glee) or small (learn Italian), understands me (better than I do myself sometimes) and brightens my every day. I feel so blessed to have you all in my life, to be lucky enough to work in a field I love and to live in the most wonderful country. I guess I have a lot to be thankful for…so thank you, thank you for 3 decades of happy memories and cheers to the fabulous adventures we’re yet to have.
Now, time to celebrate the last weekend of my 20’s!
And to make it that extra bit special, here are a few must do’s this weekend:
My Birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. My 30th Birthday! (insert big…cheer) Yep.. I’m actually excited about turning 30, not only because I’m bound to receive (there’s still time dear husband) fabulous presents, but also because I’m so looking forward to spending the night celebrating with family and friends at my Glamourous 70’s soiree.
I’m constantly daydreaming about the days of the Halstonette at Studio 54 or Bianca Jagger and Lou Lou de la Falaise lounging around in le smoking with Yves. Hence it’s only fitting that I celebrate the end of my 20’s (an era in itself) with a fabulous Vintage, Veruschka and Veerland inspired soiree.
I’ve had a clear picture of my perfect dress for months (ok ok years) and ended up purchasing two options for the event:
b) peachy nude
